Fallout 76: Next Week, Update 13 Will Be Released And The Event System Will Be Redesigned

Bethesda Softworks has announced that Update 13 will be released on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 for the online RPG “Fallout 76”. Among other things, the update will turn the event system upside down, as you can expect public events that include more information on the map, a free express travel, server-wide notifications, and other enhancements.

Public events are moving in

Already on the map you can see the number of event participants as well as the duration, the difficulty and the type of event. So you should get all the important information before starting the event. The loading screen of the express trip will also contain a detailed description of the public event.

The following public events will be available:

  • Campfire
  • Distinguished Guests
  • Feeding the hungry
  • Free range
  • Guided meditation
  • The heart of the swamp
  • Prison breakout
  • Against the sound barrier
  • Danger of collapse
  • A night full of violence
  • The path to enlightenment
  • Project paradise
  • Burned earth
  • Swarmed
  • Tee Terror
  • Uranium noise

However, the course of public events has also changed. If you die in adventure mode during a public event, you will not drop more scrap. Instead, the respawn timer is incremented for each death up to a maximum of 20 seconds.

Furthermore, it says on the official page: “Public events also begin no longer in the moment in which you open a fast trip in the area of the event. As soon as a public event appears on the map, a timer starts for it. If you want to attend the event, you have to complete some action during that time.”

The cooldown on the events has also been adjusted. Thus, only one public event should ever be active. The exceptions are the events “Scorched Earth” and “Cryptic” because they are independent of rules.
